The Story: Bold and bright. Capturing the moment just before full bloom, this artwork showcases the vibrant energy of nature. The intense magenta petals unfurl from a base of crisp green sepals, creating a striking contrast that feels fresh and modern.

The Process: This piece relies on the transparency of alcohol ink to achieve its "glowing" pink hue. I laid down a vivid Copic marker base to establish the light, then used Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils to carve out the deep folds and silky texture of the petals. The result is a color so saturated it almost looks like it is illuminated from within.
