This artwork captures all the little moments in which I overcame fear during my recovery from Guillain-Barré, moments when I decided to be here now, and to embrace each moment as it presented itself. This rose resembles hope for a future free of fear, a future as lush and colorful as its petals. A future in beautiful bloom, not afraid, just beautifully itself.
