The Story: Timeless passion. This artwork captures the intense, velvety depth of a fully bloomed red rose. It creates a focal point of romance and warmth, drawing the viewer into its intricate spiral of petals.

The Process: To achieve this level of vibrant saturation, I utilized a "deep layering" mixed-media technique. A heavy base of alcohol ink saturates the paper with crimson tones, providing a glowing foundation. I then applied Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils to sculpt the soft, velvet-like texture of each petal, ensuring the red remains deep and rich.
