This purple rose holds a special place in my collection. It was the very first piece I completed after returning home and beginning my recovery from Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS). Drawing this was not just about art, it was physical therapy for my hands and healing for my mind. Hour by hour, and day by day, this rose bloomed and started something that has forever been set in motion.
