I returned to my artistic roots during my recovery from Guillain-Barré Syndrome. Art became physical therapy for my hands. Every stroke resembled a step forward, and every finished piece reminded me that art and healing take time, and that the journey is beautiful and life-changing.

I used to think that art is a reflection of who I am, but I discovered that art is a reflection of what I love.
I am based in Pretoria, South Africa, where I grew up. This city offers the perfect environment to create and connect. I use different mediums, and I like to call myself a "Pigment Pusher".
I'm traditionally trained in oil paint, and in recent years, I started using pencil, ink, and charcoal in my pieces. My favorite medium is charcoal. It has the type of freedom and workability that feels incredibly intuitive to me as an artist.

Exhibition 2025
In February 2025, the month of love, I had the honor of hosting my first solo exhibition at Trixie's Cafe. Just months earlier, this milestone felt impossible as I was recovering from Guillain-Barré.
The collection began without a plan, just me, drawing day after day to find my way back. Drawing through pain, fear, and discomfort.
Slowly, the hours of uncertainty transformed into a series representing beauty, acceptance, perseverance, and triumph.
The response was overwhelming. I was met with excitement and so many questions about my work and my journey.
Most of the pieces were sold, and I was surrounded by the incredible support of my family and friends.
To my absolute delight, even the hospital physiotherapist who helped me learn to move and stand again visited my exhibition and purchased 'The Eternal Rose'.
This was more than an art show, it was my 'Healing Collection.' A celebration of life, love, acceptance, and transformation.
